What is the worth fighting for?

Yoon Bong-Gil, took picture with holding 2 bombs and Korean flag behind

BANG!!! April 29th, in 1932, time at 11:40 am, there was a huge explosion at Honkou park, Shanghai in China that ruined the celebration of Japanese army Emperor, Hirohito's birthday. The place where had full of Japanese turned in to chaos and many Japanese commanders and politicians were killed. Yoon Bong-gil. He was the one who threw the bomb to the center of the Honkou park to get back freedom and human rights.

When Yoon Bong-gil was born in year 1908, Korea wasn't exist for the one of the nations in the world. Japan already annexed the whole territory of Korea, and they were already started to go over the boundary of China to invade it. Yoon Bong-gil was born in dystopia, with all those chaos, and distresses. There was no freedom for Korean, for example Koreans needed Japanese's permission to do something, even when they are getting out from their house to go somewhere. Also Koreans were not allowed to talk Korean in school, only allowed to talk Japanese. So all the kids who were Korean learned wrong languages in wrong school with learning wrong history. So Yoon Bong-gil was impetus to make change about all those unfair rules. Explosion of bomb at the celebration was to kill the Japanese politicians who immure all the Koreans in to no freedom.

Additionally, human rights was also important to fight for because during Japan control Korea, there were many Korean people stoop up for democracy, but Japanese army pushed all those innocent people in to death by just simply shot them by gun. Also Koreans were not allowed to hit Japanese, even Japanese started to hit first. Many Koreans got killed or hit by Japanese and that made Yoon Bong-gil in anger to make a change. Explosion of bomb can also be connected to find human rights because it killed the Japanese commanders who lead the army to kill Koreans who were suffering, crying and beaten from their enemy.

Those reasons leaded Yoon Bong-gil to determine to cause the event. On D-day, when the 2 bombs are ready, He joined the celebration of Emperor's birthday without getting any suspicion from soliders, because figure of the bomb was water bottle and lunch box. Then it was the time. The time he waited for many years, the time to revenge the enemy who put all the Koreans in dystopia, and the time that will not come back after that moment. It was only a one chance. Yoon Bong-gil was ready. He was ready to throw his life in danger, and throw the "Hope" to the enemy that will encourage all the Korean around the lost nation. Yoon Bong-gil swang his arm hard and the "Hope" flied directly to the 9 Japanese army commenders and others. made a huge explosion that sound like a scream of Koreans for their human rights and freedom. This event encouraged Koreans to stand up higher, and to grow their power more to fight against their enemy to get back their freedom and human rights. These two, freedom and human rights are the worth fighting for.

  1. I'm Japanese but I didn't know about this history and this man, this blog made me think about world which is around me. You said Japanese people is bad because, Japan army made Korean people to study Japanese and when you disagree about Japanese people's opinion Korean killed by Japanese people, they have to say to Japanese people what ever they want to do that's taking freedom away and making the country to dystopia place.
You claimed we must stop Japanese people controlling Korea and we have to get freedom and make Korea to utopia place. I agree with that. Now Japan and Korean is fine but if I was in that situation and I was Korean I think I'm not gonna stand up but I think I felt to stand up to get a freedom. It would be a wonderful world if all the people having freedom. But in the truth the world is not like that. I think it's our responsibility to fight for freedom even you can't do big things.
